This is a compilation of my answers to questions posed by Medium readers in response to my recent Marker article, Google Puts Zoom in its Crosshairs.

Is Microsoft Teams Relevant to the Battle Between Google and Zoom?

Readers rightfully noted that the article conspicuously ignores the potential impact that Microsoft would have on the battle between Google and Zoom for market supremacy. I intentionally excluded Teams to hone in on how how Google is addressing Zoom’s market dominance because the company is making the most substantial public offensive directed at the video conferencing market space. Including Teams (or WebEx, GoToMeeting, etc.) as part of a business strategy discussion would have greatly increased the complexity of the discussion.
